I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Kelleher — the action the Minister is taking to provide adequate resources to address the chronic waiting list for orthodontic services in the HSE southern region; (2) Deputies Connolly and Harkin — to discuss the funding of the Ballybay Derryvalley Wetlands Centre project; (3) Deputy Naughten — that the Minister provide ring-fenced funding to address existing service deficits and develop new services for people with developmental and learning disabilities in the Ballinasloe area; (4) Deputy Cooper-Flynn — that this House, having considered the total inequity of the water services pricing policy, the way in which it discriminates against rural communities and its adverse impact on first-time buyers of new homes calls on the Minister to revise the terms of the policy; (5) Deputy Cowley — to ask the Minister if she will explain why the parents of a 16 month old ill child (details supplied) had to wait for two hours for transport to arrive to bring their ill child to hospital on 15 February 2006 and whether the non-availability of an ambulance on that date was due to the failure of HSE western area to provide a 24 hours full time ambulance station service in the Erris region; (6) Deputy Finian McGrath — the need to publish the Farrell Grant Sparks Report on the Marino Institute of Education; and (7) Deputy Crawford — the need to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that funding is made available to allow the Castle Sanderson scouting project to go ahead.

The matters raised by Deputies Kelleher, Naughten, Crawford, Connolly and Harkin have been selected for discussion.
