I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Pat Breen — the need to subsidise the operations of Iarnród Éireann between Ennis and Galway and subsequent routes on the western rail corridor; (2) Deputy Costello — if the Minister will review the Prosecution of Offences Act 1974 so that matters of public concern relating to the DPP's duties can be clarified; (3) Deputy Hogan — if the Minister will ensure approval for a new renal dialysis service at a clinic (details supplied) in Kilkenny in the interests of local patients; (4) Deputy Cowley — to ask the Minister the reason for the gross irregularities in the reporting of a fatal accident involving a person (details supplied); (5) Deputy Durkan — to discuss the deportation of a person (details supplied) in County Dublin given this person's serious health condition and history of abuse; (6) Deputy Ó Caoláin — the Minister's plans regarding the responsibilities and terms of reference for the conduct of the national car testing function and network; (7) Deputy Catherine Murphy — the action the Minister is taking in regard to financial provisions for adoptive parents and foster parents; (8) Deputy Gilmore — that the OPW stop work on the erection of a new telecommunications mast at Shankill Garda station, County Dublin; (9) Deputy Crawford — if the Minister will re-examine the compensation system for TB reactor herds in light of the serious losses that are being experienced by herd owners; and (10) Deputy Joe Higgins — concern over Limerick County Council's proposed water scheme for the Pallaskenry area against the wishes of the local people.

The matters raised by Deputies Hogan, Pat Breen, Ó Caoláin and Costello have been selected for discussion.
