Agreement on Social Security: Referral to Select Committee.

I move:

That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approves the terms of the revised Agreement on Social Security between the Government of Ireland and the Government of Australia which was signed at Dublin on 9 June 2005 and was laid before Dáil Éireann on 27 October 2005 be referred to the Select Committee on Social and Family Affairs, in accordance with paragraph (1) of the Orders of Reference of that committee, which, not later than 22 November 2005, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 85, and Standing Order 84(2) shall accordingly apply.
