I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy O'Connor — if the Minister will ensure funding is provided to allow for the opening of the Saoirse women's refuge in Tallaght, Dublin 24; (2) Deputy Neville — the need for an independent inquiry on the death by suicide of a person (details supplied) at Cork University Hospital on Sunday, 17 October 2004; (3) Deputy Finian McGrath — the victimisation of the staff employed by a company (details supplied); and (4) Deputy Harkin — if the Minister will consider an appeal by a school in Swinford, County Mayo, (details supplied) to maintain three teachers given that the number of pupils enrolled exceeds 50 pupils and if she will allow the school to retain the rented prefabricated building.

The matters raised by Deputies O'Connor, Neville, Finian McGrath and Harkin have been selected for discussion.
