I wish to draw to the attention of the House that I understood earlier today that I had voted on Second Stage of the Electoral (Amendment) Bill 2005. However, it has since been brought to my attention that one of my votes has not been recorded. I wish to put on record that it was my full intention to vote in both divisions. I thank the Ceann Comhairle for allowing me to bring this matter to his attention.

Is the Deputy happy with the revision?

While Deputy Cassidy has made the point and it has been put on the record of the House, I wish to make it clear that this cannot become a precedent. Members dissatisfied with the electronic recording or not recording of votes, as the case may be, must raise the matter at the time of the vote.
