I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to outline the Government's policy on the construction of high voltage overhead power lines, and explain why a review report on the construction of one such line over Cork Harbour has not been published and why the findings, as implemented, seem to have resulted in little or no change over much of the proposed route.

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to make a statement to the House regarding Ireland's appalling failure to honour its obligations under the 1975 EU waste directive and to explain the European Court of Justice ruling today to the House.

Having considered the matters raised they are not in order under Standing Order 31.
