I move:

That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approves in accordance with Article 29.5.2° of Bunreacht na hÉireann the accession by Ireland to the Rotterdam Convention on the prior informed consent procedure for certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides in international trade, be referred to the Select Committee on Agriculture and Food, in accordance with paragraph (1) of the Orders of Reference of that committee, which, not later than 19 April 2005, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 85, and Standing Order 84(2) shall accordingly apply.
