I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy McGuinness — the urgent need to fund a special school for autistic children at Goresbridge, County Kilkenny; (2) Deputy Ó Snodaigh — the urgent need for the Minister for Health and Children to explain his decision to refuse to review the rules governing the granting of foster care allowances as requested by the Ombudsman in her annual report last week; (3) Deputy Cowley — to ask the Minister the reason a pupil (details supplied) has not been assessed by the educational psychologist when he is apparently dyslexic; (4) Deputy Ó Caoláin — the need for the Minister for Education and Science to detail his plans for the provision of extra resource teachers and learning support teachers for primary schools; (5) Deputy Neville — the number of suicides in 2003; (6) Deputy McGinley — the developing crisis within the Civil Defence Board arising from the Minister's decision to seek the dismissal of its chairman.

The matters raised by Deputies McGinley, McGuinness, Cowley, and Ó Snodaigh have been selected for discussion.
