Last week, there was an announcement of funding for roads. Again, the N71, which is the main west Cork road, and the R586 were excluded from any funding going forward. I ask the Taoiseach to intervene in this issue. It is not a case that it is not happening on a yearly basis or we are not getting funding. It is now a case of not getting funding from decade to decade on the main routes from Innishannon, Bandon and Clonakilty into west Cork and our roads are getting seriously run down.
