I would like to ask the Government a question regarding the upcoming visits of the Queen of England and the US President.
We are all only too well aware of how "broke" Ireland is as a country. Taxpayers have been hit with tax upon tax upon tax to try to help the country get back on its feet. I, aswell as half the country, would like to know where the millions of euro is coming from to provide security for these visits?? I have heard a figure of 30million overall and I am amazed as to how the Irish Government can fund this if the country is so broke??? I know if I am broke, I am broke and I can't just magically make money appear to spend so I would love to know where the Government is going to get it from. Is there a secret fund that they have or are us taxpayers going to be hit with another tax in the next budget to pay for it.
