Question 5: To ask the Minister for Justice and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to reports that criminal gang members or dissident Republicans have for a number of years coerced owners of public houses and nightclubs to use their services for the supply of doormen; if he believes these reports are accurate; the steps, if any, that have been taken to ensure owners of licensed premises and nightclubs are not coerced to use such services and do not have money extorted from them; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
