I seek the adjournment of the Dáil to address the following matter of national importance, namely, the need for the Ministers for Social Protection and Health and Children to take immediate action to ensure the delivery of the back-to-school clothing and footwear allowance scheme, which faces further severe delays this year causing hardship to low-income families with school-going children.
