Having tallied the numbers myself, I would like to point out that there is an error in the number declared for the motion, as currently set out. The true count is 80 rather than 81, as Ned O'Keefe is counted twice. Can someone confirm whether the actual vote for this bill was 80, or did another individual vote for it and is not listed?

Many thanks

Ta, 81; Nil, 65 as per the PDF of the Debates. See

http://debates.oireachtas.ie/Xml/30/DAL20091112.PDF, p. 580.

Beverley Flynn voted "Ta" as per the PDF, her name appearing instead of that of the first Ned O'Keeffe listed above.

That's a new variation on the old "Why on earth can't they correctly place Flynn in a vote list?" problem that's existed since day one here.

Are they now just making up new voters to bypass a bug checker?

Note also that the XML is *still* broken on this one after nearly a fortnight.

Fixing this by manual edit to our XML copy and reimporting.

Catriona - thanks to you we've gone through the Oireachtas source material and found an additional 13 cockups involving Flynn dating back to the last election. We've reported them to the debates office. Nice work. :)
