Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
12:00 pm
Martin Ferris (Kerry North, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the impounding of two fishing vessels belonging to Pat O'Donnell and his son, Jonathan O'Donnell, whose attempts to pursue a livelihood in Broadhaven Bay are being threatened by the laying of a gas pipeline, particularly given that a local processing factory that employs seven people will not be able to operate if it is no longer supplied by the catch from the two boats.
