I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, that the Minister for Transport would report to Dáil Éireann on what steps he is taking to facilitate an urgent resolution of the looming industrial relations crisis at Bus Éireann that may severely disrupt up to 70,000 commuters across the country and if he will confirm that he will utilise all of the industrial relations machinery of the State to bring about an immediate end to the dispute in light of the savage programme of cutbacks which he has instigated at Bus Éireann, including the loss of 162 buses and 320 jobs; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
