I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to discuss an issue of national importance and concern, namely, the urgent need to protect all disability services in the current economic climate. There is also the need to support the Central Remedial Clinic in Clontarf, St. Michael's House and Prosper Fingal Disability Services with adequate funding in 2009 and 2010 and ensure that all broad economic decisions are based on protecting disability services as a priority and particularly the elderly parents of adults with a disability.
