I seek the adjournment of the Dáil on the following matter of national importance requiring urgent attention, namely, the need for the Minister for Education and Science, Deputy Batt O'Keeffe, to reverse his disgraceful, unilateral decision to cut promised funding for the development of the All Ireland centre of excellence for autism at Middletown, County Armagh, a joint North-South project, which is providing vital training, research and other supports for the many children in Ireland with autism, and their families.
