I seek the adjournment of the Dáil to discuss the following matter of national and regional importance, namely, the need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to take action to protect the public interest in view of an incident that occurred in Tipperary town on St. Patrick's Day and the significant concern expressed locally and nationally and if he will outline his policy to ensure that the public is protected from the violence and recurrent public order offences. Is a policy in place to ensure that the public is protected from these offences and that offences can be prevented in the future? Will the Minister make the Judiciary aware of the high level of anxiety and anger about the level of recurrence of these offences and a feeling that they are not being dealt with adequately?
