I seek the adjournment of the Dáil to discuss the following matter of national and regional importance, namely, the need for the Minister for Transport to urgently report to the Dáil and ensure that critical Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann fleets and services are fully maintained and protected and that the current programmes of cutbacks are immediately halted given the vital role of buses for commuters and workers across Ireland; if he will indicate what steps he is taking to address the current industrial relations crises at Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann; and if he and the Government will urgently use all of the industrial relations mechanisms of the State to avoid a disruption to bus services from next week.
