I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to address a matter of national importance, namely, the recent staff reductions in the acute psychiatric ward at Kerry General Hospital, the failure of management to consult with the staff and unions in the hospital as required by the Labour Court ruling, and the need to conduct a full health and safety audit prior to the implementation of any reduction in staffing levels.
