I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise the following matter of local and national importance, namely, the need for the Minister for Health and Children to revisit the decision made by the HSE not to fund specialised compression vests for cystic fibrosis sufferers, which is causing great pain to families with young children who have seen the benefits of these vests. At a minimum, the Government should lease the vests from the manufacturers and provide them to families who have more than one child suffering from cystic fibrosis.
