Requests to Move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
10:30 am
James Bannon (Longford-Westmeath, Fine Gael)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to discuss an issue of national importance, namely, Ireland's unsustainable ecological footprint which according to the World Wildlife Fund report ranks Ireland as tenth in a list of countries which rely on the ecological resources of other countries to prop up their lifestyles and economic growth, thereby using up the earth's diminishing resources at a faster rate than most other countries.
