Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
10:30 am
Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin (Cavan-Monaghan, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to discuss the following matter of national and international importance, namely, that today is United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture and the need for the Government to fulfil its obligations to victims of torture by providing full funding to SPIRASI, the only non-governmental organisation in the State providing specialist rehabilitation services to survivors of torture who have sought refuge on Irish shores.
