Business of Dáil

I move:

That notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, or the Order of the Dáil of this day, the proceedings on the resumed debate on No. 21 shall, if not previously concluded, be brought to a conclusion at 10 p.m. tonight and the following arrangements shall apply:

(1) The speeches of each other Member called upon shall not exceed ten minutes in each case;

(2) Members may share time;

(3) Standing Order 47 shall not apply in relation to Members who have spoken previously in the debate;

(4) A Minister or Minister of State shall be called upon to make a speech in reply, which shall not exceed ten minutes;

(5) A Minister or Minister of State shall take questions for a period not exceeding 30 minutes immediately thereafter.
