I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the decision of the Irish people to reject the Lisbon treaty by referendum, and the consequences this decision has for Ireland's future in Europe. If this is not an issue of national importance, I do not know what is.
