I wish to seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the cancellation of all respite services at Leopardstown Park Hospital despite these services having been booked and confirmed long in advance by exhausted carers whose only hope of a break for even a few days has been denied and who cannot even plan to attend family weddings or enjoy a recuperative break which would allow them continue the difficult work of a sole carer.
