Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
4:00 pm
Tommy Broughan (Dublin North East, Labour)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the need for the Minister for the Enterprise, Trade and Employment to ensure that the State's industrial relations machinery urgently intervenes to find a resolution to the industrial action taking place at the Novum manufacturing plant in the Clonshaugh industrial estate, Dublin 17, in light of the role of the company in continuing traditional manufacturing in north Dublin and its importance in providing valuable employment in the north Coolock area.
