I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to debate a matter of national importance, namely, that the Government is in significant danger of missing its 2010 target to reduce the amount of biodegradable waste being dumped in landfill sites, which is increasing rather than decreasing, leaving Ireland open to fresh EU sanctions.
