I seek the adjournment of the House under Standing Order 32 to discuss the following matter of urgent national importance, namely, the proposal by the EU Health Commissioner to impose restrictions on the importation of beef from Brazil on the basis of the report by the Food and Veterinary Office, and that this underlines the case for the Government to alter its position and call for a complete ban on Brazilian imports.
