I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise the following urgent matter: that in light of the HSE ban on recruitment, which is having a serious impact on patient care, including the lack of supervision of a brain injury patient in University College Hospital, Galway, who has already fallen out of bed twice, and the possible closure of wards in the hospital due to the lack of nursing staff, there is an immediate need for the Government to intervene before lives are lost.
