I seek the adjournment of the Dáil to discuss the following urgent matter of public interest: the serious economic and employment implications for the Cork East constituency and Cork in general following the announcement that the Amgen project which was to deliver more than 1,000 jobs is not to proceed, the need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to outline the background to the decision and the steps he intends to take to ensure the project proceeds or is replaced as a matter of urgency.
