Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31
10:30 am
Joe Costello (Dublin Central, Labour)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of national importance, namely, the findings of the recent TNS-MRBI survey which concluded that 27% of female members of the Permanent Defence Force claimed they had been bullied or harassed in the past year; and, second, the failure of the Government to take effective measures to increase female participation in the Permanent Defence Force which currently stands at only 5%.
