Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31
11:00 am
Paddy McHugh (Galway East, Independent)
I seek the adjournment of the Dail under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of national importance, namely, the need for the Government to outline its plans to address the infrastructural deficit in the west, including the need for increased investment in national secondary roads, water and sewerage, rail and the provision of broadband, and to allow the Taoiseach to make a statement on the totally unacceptable situation which continues to pose a major barrier to inward investment, enterprise development and overall quality of life in the region.
