I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the closure of all 24-hour pharmacies in the capital city; the refusal by the Minister for Health and Children to introduce a national out-of-hours rota system as repeatedly requested by the Irish Pharmaceutical Union; and the failure of the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to provide the necessary security to enable pharmacies to provide a 24-hour service in Dublin
