Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31
5:00 am
Aengus Ó Snodaigh (Dublin South Central, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the need for the Minister for Health and Children to abandon her plans to close Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin to minimise the risk to children's safety by ensuring they are not obliged to travel through chaotic Dublin traffic in emergency situations to get to the new, and soon to be only, children's hospital in Dublin located at the Mater Hospital in the north inner city, and for the Minister to recognise the success of Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children on this the 50th anniversary of its opening.
