I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the serious crisis regarding the compilation of the electoral register in Galway West, particularly in Galway where thousands have been removed, and in other areas, including the Connemara Gaeltacht where, outrageously, people who have been on the register at the same address for many years have been removed, and the urgent need for the Government to take action to extend the date for checking and seeking corrections to the register beyond 25 November to a realistic date.
