I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, in view of the recent reports which indicate that Ireland may be the subject of a terrorist attack, the need to bring forward legislation to underpin a national emergency planning agency and the requirement for additional funding for our intelligence services in the Garda Síochána and the Defence Forces.
