Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31
10:30 am
Jerry Cowley (Mayo, Independent)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of major national and local importance, namely, the worthwhile initiative announced by Shell to Sea last Monday regarding the setting up of an independent public commission of inquiry to enable investigations into the optimum development concept for the Corrib gas project and providing a reasonable and sensible approach to a resolution of the Corrib gas conflict through an open, transparent and democratic process through which community consent will be the key criterion.
