I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: that this House instructs the Minister for Health and Children to immediately lift the ban on recruitment to key positions in the health service as it is causing untold hardship to patients and staff. The Minister has demonstrated complete incompetence in this portfolio.
