Above all else I welcome the Ceann Comhairle back. We are glad to see he is safe. I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the Teamwork and Carey reports into the death of the late Mr. Pat Joe Walsh and their implication for the services of Monaghan General Hospital if acted on as proposed by the HSE and supported by the Minister for Health and Children in her television interviews. The Minister supports the proposals in spite of the fact she has never visited Monaghan General Hospital or discussed the issue with the doctors and consultants there who have written to her through the HSE begging for the retention and upgrading of services in Monaghan General Hospital. Can this Dáil ignore the anger of 10,000 people on the streets of Monaghan?
