I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of national importance and concern, namely, the urgent need to introduce and debate legislation to deal with statutory rape law; put in place mechanisms and support for all victims of child sexual abuse; and support the demands of our citizens for a fair and effective justice system.
