Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.

4:00 pm

Paudge Connolly (Cavan-Monaghan, Independent)

I wish to seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the inexcusable delay in excess of a week by the Health Service Executive in releasing the report into the circumstances of the death of Pat Joe Walsh at Monaghan General Hospital to the Walsh family, a report which was due five and a half months ago; and call for the immediate release of the report, initially to the family prior to its publication to the general public.
