Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
10:30 am
Trevor Sargent (Dublin North, Green Party)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, to hear how the Corrib gas pipeline plan is still a threat to the people of Rossport, how the people of Ireland will not benefit from the gas coming ashore and how the Government needs to face up to making ends meet for Ireland without relying on fossil fuels as a matter of national responsibility and in the interests of global peace, stability and sustainability.
