Under Standing Order 31, I seek the adjournment of the Dáil on a specific and important matter of public interest requiring urgent consideration, namely, the slow decline and gradual shutdown of Iarnród Éireann's freight business, and in particular the announcement by Diageo that Guinness will be distributed by road rather than rail which will significantly increase accidents, oil use and climate change emissions. Perhaps I might also mention the affect that it might have on the pint of plain, which requires smooth transport as well as pouring.
