Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the increasing practice of retailers to label goods in both euro and sterling with the sterling price being the dominant figure on the label. Often there are significant differences in the prices being charged in euro over sterling. In view of the Know your Rights campaign currently under way there is an obvious need for Government to recognise there is a problem in this regard and to legislate in the interest of the consumer.
