I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, to debate the Government's failure to deliver on its promise, a promise made by the former Minister for Transport, Deputy Brennan, that an independent Cork Airport Authority would commence its operations debt free and that the full cost of the new airport terminal would not have to be borne by that authority.
