I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to address the outrageous and disgraceful actions by Irish Ferries management against its workforce in the Welsh ports of Pembroke and Holyhead in recent days; to outline what measures the Government is taking to bring about a resolution of the matter; to ask the Minister to liaise with the Ministers for Justice, Equality and Law Reform and Foreign Affairs to report on any steps taken to investigate serious allegations and complaints of criminal behaviour by persons operating under the direction of Irish Ferries management against the Irish Ferries workforce; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
