I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following matter: the urgent need for a full Dáil debate on the position at Irish Ferries and to give the Government an opportunity to introduce emergency legislation to outlaw flags of convenience and ensure workers at Irish Ferries have wages and conditions of employment which accord with Irish employment legislation and industrial relations procedures and structures.
