I seek an adjournment of the House under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of urgent public importance, that the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform come before the House to explain the circumstances whereby a Nigerian national, Ms Olivia Agbon Lahor, mother of twin children one of whom is severely autistic, was detained on foot of being deported from this country, the factors that have persuaded the Minister to intervene, and what implications this case carries for the Government's immigration policy.
