Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
3:00 pm
Arthur Morgan (Louth, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of urgent public concern, namely, the necessity for the Minister for Health and Children to intervene immediately to prevent the HSE further downgrading services at Louth County Hospital in Dundalk and to restore breast surgery services at the hospital, which the HSE terminated on 14 September, thus representing a serious reduction of services at the hospital, and to visit the hospital as she promised in July. There is still no sign of her there. She could take the motorway and be there in an hour.
